What we do
We are a young association with clear goals. This is what we work for, and how you can be part of it.
Promote research
We want to fund and promote research on CACNA1A, and encourage families to join registries and natural history studies, the basis on which future treatments are built.
Accompany families
From the day of diagnosis: listening, sharing what we have learned and helping families find professionals with experience.
Build a European network
Families in Catalonia, Spain and the rest of Europe, connected to share experiences, meet up and speak with one voice.
Share reliable information
Clear information in Catalan, Spanish and English, so that no family depends on understanding medical articles in another language.
Raise awareness
Make CACNA1A and rare diseases visible, especially around CACNA1A Awareness Day on 19 March.
Work with professionals
Collaborate with hospitals, research centres, universities and public bodies that share our goals.
Want to help?
Members, volunteers and professionals make all of this possible.
